    Start with the first word and reach the destination. On each step, change exactly one letter in the same position. COLD → CORD is a valid step.

    Every chapter has its own small, curated lexicon, not a full English dictionary. Open “Possible next words” to see every legal move, then click one or type it. You can never get stuck: undo is unlimited.

    “Gentle hint” reveals the next word on a shortest remaining route. Gold means a shortest route without hints, silver means a longer route without hints, and a quill means you finished with help. Replay any chapter to improve your keepsake.
